Purpose-built for the environments that demand the most from their furnishings. In a world of disposable imports, we build lamps that stay.
Every JES lamp is a multi-functional workhorse engineered to perform without sacrificing warmth and beauty.
The lamp on a nightstand in a hospital, a memory care unit, or a residence hall gets handled hundreds of times a week. A hospitality-default lamp fails under that load, and the callback lands on the designer who specified it. Every JES lamp is engineered as facility equipment that still reads residential, so the specification holds up as long as the warranty does.
Shown on the Vantage — these features are standard across the Vantage, Companion II, and Atlas series. Not viewable on mobile.
The Perma-Lock&trade Finial requires a proprietary tool for removal. The 360° universal swivel makes the lamp impact resistant and allows for directional task lighting.
PolyMold shades are solid non-porous polystyrene — wipe clean with standard facility disinfectants including quaternary ammonium compounds (UL 94 V-0/V-1). TriLam shades clean with mild soap and water (NFPA 701). Both resist cracking, yellowing, and UV fading under years of daily use.
Customize the light output for any environment. Add an optional Diffuser to reduce bulb glare and soften the light. Add a Safety Cap for extra security in high-acuity settings. All options are configured at time of order.
The harp is welded to the lamp, providing one piece construction. No removable parts means nothing goes missing, nothing rattles loose, and nothing needs replacing.
A soft amber glow reduces fall risk during nighttime hours without disrupting sleep cycles. Blue-light blocking wavelength supports melatonin production.
Every JES lamp ships with a powder-coat finish engineered for high-use environments. Resistant to tarnishing, abrasions, UV light, and chemicals — the finish holds up to daily cleaning protocols and years of continuous use without fading, chipping, or discoloration.
Surface-mount option locks the lamp to the furniture, eliminating tip-over risk entirely. Add the Flush option for a thinner base that sits flush to any tabletop, maximizing available surface space. SecureMount, Flush, and Pro (concealed cord routing) can be combined independently.
Comes standard with heavy-duty 3-prong grounded SJT wiring for reliable, code-compliant performance. An optional hospital-grade wiring modification is available for facilities that require enhanced plug retention and grounding integrity.
Price the lamp against a decade of service, not a single invoice. A hospitality-default lamp hits its second or third replacement cycle in the same ten years a JES lamp stays in service, and the operator's budget question becomes the designer's credibility question. A 10-year factory warranty, zero replacement cycles, and a number you can defend in the next meeting.
Seven lamp models. Hundreds of configurations. One vendor, one warranty, one maintenance protocol across your entire property. Settle for whatever's closest in a hospitality catalog and the finished room reads as an approximation of the design, not the design. Every JES lamp is made to order in Milwaukee, so you specify what you actually want.
Every JES lamp starts as a blank canvas. You choose the model, shade, base, finish, and add-ons. We build it to your exact specifications in Milwaukee and ship it factory direct.
JES Lighting is owned and operated by a couple raising four kids. The two oldest are five-year-old twins, and they've had JES lamps in their bedroom since the day they were born. What you're seeing in these videos is year two.
The rocker switch? Flipped a hundred times before bedtime. For fun. The floor lamp? Pushed over at least once a week. The Perma-Lock finial and PolyMold shade? Subjected to regular, enthusiastic abuse. The powder coat finish? Attacked with an oddly sharp toy saw. No effect.
When we say our lamps are built to withstand demanding environments, we mean it. Starting with the most demanding environment we know.
